Alerts for new tracks available

  1. Sign in or Sign up to IFTTT .
  2. Click on your account on the top right corner.
  3. Click on "Create".
  4. For "This" search for "Spotify" and select "New track added to a playlist".
  5. Connect to Spotify and pick your playlist.
  6. For "Then" search Messenger and select "Send songs added to a playlist to messenger".
  7. Click on "Finish" and that's it !

The reasons why I chose this subjet

I chose Spotify and more specialy the availability of new track because I am a frequent user of Spotify, and I find it hard to be aware of new arrival, new music, new playlist. With this, it will be easier for me to know when there is a new track that I like that is available on Spotify.
Being alerted by messenger is quite great insofar as I almost never check my email or my sms, but I am very often connected on messenger app.
